Arjun Rampal goes the soap way
Hye guys was chatting to Arjun the other day and he said he has decided to venture into Television production. His company Chasing Ganesha are shooting a pilot and once they are happy with it they will offer it to a TV channel. Whilst I love arjun to bits I can't help but thinking that he has finally got his calling at last. I just hope his serial doesn’t have the same fate as his films - and flops. Maybe he can get some advice from his friend Ekta who is the queen of soap and if all else fails, he could relay on good mate Shah Rukh Khan to do a guest appearance don't you think?

Hmmm, interesting! Ekta Kapoor does know what sells, even if its crap but who cares as long as you're able to sell it. Personally, I can't stand those moving cameras and irritating background score. Forget about the rest of crap she shows.
I hope Arjun, if he does take advice from her, doesn't go in the same direction. Shahrukh will be good. I remember watching him in Circus and Fauji - even then I liked him and you could see this guy will go places. He had a positive energy in him.
Having said all that I haven't watched Indian TV in ages now.
I liked Shah Rukh in a TV Serial I saw on what used to be called TV Asia - the show was called "Doosra Keval" and most of it was in flashback - I thought he was really good in that.
If Arjun does a TV serial - do we really think it's going to be along the lines of a typical Saas/Bahu drama? The market is pretty well saturated with those. Surely he can come up with something else? Star One channel does show other types of stories which we can become just as engrosed in.
I hope arjun makes something on the movie stars or even models would be good to see what really goes on in thier lives don't you think
I must be the only person on the face of the earth that liked his "I see you"! :-S
I'd like to watch more of his films. Which ones do you recommend me? Not cameo roles, please. :)
Hye Monica you know how much i love arjun and i did enjoy parts of the film shame about the lead had he got someone better the film would have worked.
Arjun's film that you should watch include Vaada , Ek Ajnabee, Dil Ka Rista, Dil Hain Tumhaara, Asahmbhav, Don, Elaan Darna Zaroori Hai, Tezeeb
don't watch any of those movies! monica mere baat sun tu! only watch Aankhen

Anyway, I didn't have a clue he had done so many films! But for now, I have Don somewhere, but I didn't remember he was in it! So I will start with that one... one of these "years", lol :P

Monica what i meant was the female lead let the film down. She was ntohing great to look at and had no screen presence at all. Had arjun gone for a different girl the film would have worked. Oh and i forgot to add Aankhen in the list. And don't listen to Hoonhaar he's a goonda watch the arjun movies cos he is the best eye candy around - well apart from john, akki, kunal, etc
monica, you rather chat to apun, then watch those movies! you know which one is more entertaining.
Rani... Not great to look at??? I did like Vipasha :-S Maybe she didn't deliver much (?) but I thought she was great to look at! I think she is such a beauty! :-/

Arjun was acting in the menioned films but he also acted and produced I See You. And what Rani said at the top was that Arjun is producing a serial.
I like Arjun. He has developed into a good actor...and I envy his looks...
Out of his films, I thought Moksha was fab alongside Aankhen, Tehzeeb and I know not many people liked it but Humko Tumse Pyar Hai, although filmy was nice...

So I finally saw the new Don yesterday. But what a horrible hair style Arjun had in this one! :(
